JLo performs at Indian tycoon's £15million glamourous wedding
Wedding took place at exclusive 17th century hotel, Jagmandir Island Palace, which featured in a James Bond movie
What can be more lavish than spending £15 million on a wedding? Probably the fact that Indian billionaire Sanjay Hinduja, who hails from one of Britain's wealthiest families, invited Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Scherzinger (from the Pussycat Dolls) to perform at his wedding, the Daily Mail reported.
Hinduja wed his long-term love, Anu Mahtani, in a lavish three-day wedding, which took place at the stunning 17th century Jagmandir Island Palace -- an exclusive hotel in the city of Udaipur in India. Fun fact about this hotel: It featured in the James Bond film Octopussy!
JLo and Nicole Scherzinger were reportedly paid a total of £1 million to perform at the wedding, and they stayed in luxurious suites which cost £3,000 per night. Further, it was reported that Nicole alone was paid between £375,000 and £650,000 for her performance.
During the wedding, Nicole performed alongside Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh at the sangeet event which took place at the Taj Lake Palace, with performances followed by Vishal-Shekhar and Sophie Choudry.

During the wedding week, around 16,000 guests were served with cuisines from 16 different countries. The wedding was high on glamour, aside from JLo and Niccole, several Bollywood stars were also present at the wedding. Some included Malaika Arora Khan, Preity Zinta, Indian designer Manish Malhotra, Deanne Pandey, Haseena Jethmalani, Surily Goel and Farah Oomerbhoy.
The list of attendees at the start-studded event also included London-based billionaire Vedanta Chief Anil Aggarwal, son of Lakshmi Mittal Aditya Mittal, while the President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was also on the guest list.

The delighted guests were part of the celebrations for over a week, and were driven around by chauffers in BMWs for the wedding whereabouts.
It doesn't end there -- 208 privately-chartered planes brought some of the world’s elite to the airport, and because there were so many planes, there was no space for parking!
Further, beautifully decorated boats were also arranged to transport the guests to the hotel which sits in the middle of the lake.
The wedding was based on the traditional Indian theme, where guests were greeted with folk music on arrival. The dress code was strictly Indian too -- with Manish Malhotra being the designer in the spotlight as the bride wore many of his outfits, and by the way, each of Manish’s outfits costed about £5,000!
