Singer takes $2 million to perform at billionair Sanjay Hinduja’s ceremony

UK-based billionaire Sanjay Hinduja recently tied the knot with his long-time love and designer Anu Mahtani in a lavish ceremony in Udaipur. The pre-wedding ceremonies that started from February 10 saw many high-status guests, including Bollywood celebrities and politicians joining in the celebrations, reported Daily Mail.

The latest luminary to join the guest list in the big fat Indian wedding was none other than international pop-icon Jennifer Lopez, who performed live at the wedding on Thursday night. The Jenny From The Block hitmaker has reportedly been given up to $2 million to perform at the private affair at the sprawling City Lake Palace in Udaipur.

The 45-year-old made a glamorous arrival as she touched down in Udaipur on Thursday. She was joined by her on-again off-again beau Casper Smart, who she initially split from last summer amid reports he had cheated.

However, rumour has it that they have met up on several occasions, most recently at the House Of Blues hotspot in West Hollywood earlier this month.

Casper was one of the many backing dancers who graced the stage with her at the wedding.

The celebrations kicked off in spectacular style with a pre-wedding reception at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Hinduja, 48 — an oil tycoon who is also the Chairman of Gulf Oil International Limited—will exchange vows with designer Anu, who he has dated for several years. Hundreds of guests landed in the City Lake Palace — set in acres of the flourishing forest — to witness the pair wed before enjoying a no-expenses spared party.

Jennifer wasn’t the only pop sensation to make an appearance at the lavish bash—Nicole Scherzinger has also been flown in to attend.

The former Pussycats Doll singer has been enjoying the A-list treatment since landing in the country. The pre-wedding bash was a three-day-long affair and took place at three different venues in Udaipur, reported ibtimes.co.in.

Designer Manish Malhotra had designed the pre-wedding function dress for the bride Mahtani, who is designer Nandita Mahtani’s sister.
