ABBOTTABAD:
A leopard killed two goats in a remote village of Galiyat, locals said on Friday.

Muhammad Sultan, son of farmer Mir Zaman, told the police a leopard entered their house Thursday night, adding he ran outside when he heard goats bleating and saw the predator dragging one of them towards the forest.


He added leopards have killed a minor girl and over a dozen cattle in the same locality in the past.

The big cats move down from snow-covered forest areas to settled locales in search of food in the winter.
