National Action Plan: Questionnaire set for Sindh madrassas
Members of committee discussed at length the implementation of the national action plan in Sindh

The members of provincial apex committee on Thursday discussed and finalised a pro forma regarding registration of seminaries in Sindh and would submit the same before the apex committee meeting to be held in Islamabad.
“The pro-forma includes the number of students, teachers and sources of funding of the madrassas,” official sources said.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would chair the Islamabad meeting where chief of army staff, chief ministers of four provinces, provincial chief secretaries and officials of intelligence agencies and other members will also be there.
“It was a meeting preparatory to the apex committee meeting that was scheduled to be held in Karachi, but will now be convened in Islamabad,” the spokesperson for CM House said, adding that the members of the committee discussed at length the implementation of the national action plan in Sindh.
“The provincial apex committee will brief about the cases referred to military courts and action taken against militants and terrorists in Sindh,” the spokesman said, adding that Sindh government has recommended 64 cases for the military courts.
“Among other cases that have been recommended to the military courts include the attack on PNS Mehran Base, airport incident and attack on Justice Maqbool Baqar,” the spokesman said.
