Jirga decision: Six militants arrested in FR Bannu
.
BANNU:
The tribal community of Jani Khel in Frontier Region (FR) Bannu, while refusing to allow militants to live among them, turned over six miscreants to the security forces. The houses of these militants were also blown up in accordance with the local tradition. A couple of days ago, a Jirga of Jani Khel Wazir had asked all militants to either surrender or leave the area otherwise they would face action. Jani Khel, considered a stronghold of militants since long, is adjacent to Bannu city. Close relatives of militants from various areas of North Waziristan have also shifted to this part of Bannu following the Zarb-e-Azb operation.
