Two killed as Indian army chopper crashes in Kashmir
The advanced light helicopter, which was said to be on a night training sortie near Safapora Heights when it crashed

A pilot and his co-pilot were killed when a Dhruv helicopter of the Indian Army crashed in Bandipore area of Indian Kashmir on Wednesday evening, NDTV reported.
The advanced light helicopter, which was said to be on a night training sortie, crashed at around 7:45pm at Safapora Heights near Kurshu Forest. It had taken off from Mansbal area at around 7pm.
According to NDTV, radio contact with the chopper was lost at 7.43pm.
Rescue teams of the army, police and fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Villagers in the area said they saw the helicopter swing dangerously after which they heard a loud sound followed by flames.
