Police encounter: Three criminals shot dead

The suspects tried to escape but were killed in an exchange of fire

Three men were shot dead during an alleged encounter with the New Hyderabad City police within the limits of the Hatri police station. Law enforcers claimed that the deceased — Iqbal Mazari, Sagheer and Mast Gopang — were booked in over a hundred cases of murder, kidnappings, robberies and rape. Hyderabad police have killed around 15 outlaws and injured 60 others in encounters since November 2014. According to the police, after they received information about the presence of criminals in the Wanki Wassi area, they surrounded the area. The suspects tried to escape but were killed in an exchange of fire.
