Helping aps survivors: US-based child psychiatrist arrives

Dr Lubna will examine APS survivors, parents of deceased children as well as other patients

PESHAWAR:
Mental health experts have been making their way to Peshawar from across the country and other parts of the world to train a team of psychologists to help and counsel victims of the brutal Army Public School (APS) attack. One of the experts, Dr Lubna, a US-based psychiatrist, arrived in the provincial capital on Tuesday. According to Dr Mian Mukhtar, the head of Lady Reading Hospital’s (LRH) psychiatry department, Dr Lubna will examine APS survivors, parents of deceased children as well as other patients with mental problems free of charge at LRH’s psychiatry department from 9am to 3pm every day till Friday.
