Sindh CM to hand out compensation cheques to heirs of Shikarpur blast victims soon

KARACHI:
Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah said on Monday that he would himself hand out compensation cheques this week, Rs2 million to heirs of each martyred, and Rs0.2 million to each injured in the Shikarpur Imambargah bomb blast incident.

He added that a list of the genuine heirs of 63 Martyred and names of 73 injured persons of the bomb blast has been completed and the  cheques for compensation were ready to be delivered.

While addressing a delegation of Shia Ulema-e- Council Sindh on Monday, Shah also issued directions for forming a two member committee, comprising his Special Assistants Rashid Rabbani and Waqar Mehdi, to finalise a list of those victims who had been disabled by the attack and provide them jobs in the government.


The Shia Ulema-e- Council Sindh delegation, led by Allama Muhammad Baqir Najafi, had called on the CM to seek compensation for heirs of the victims.

Shah said that three different investigation teams, are currently investigating the incident and disclosed that they had uncovered important clues about the perpetrators. He said that law enforcement agencies will apprehended the culprits soon.

Allama Shabir Hassan Mesmi, Allama Shahanshah Hussain Naqvi , Allama Riaz Hussain Al-Hussainee , Allama JaffarAli Subhani , Syed Hasnain Mehdi and Syed Ali Muhammad Bukhari were also present in the meeting.
