Two upsets were witnessed in the semi-final stage of the 40th National Snooker Championship as the top players – Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Sajjad – both crashed out of the event.
The match was closely contested with Asif tying the game in the 10th frame, however, Changezi grinded his way to a win. In the other semi-final, Hamza Akbar defeated Muhammad Sajjad 6-3 with a scoreline of 36-93, 77-43, 74-16, 14-79(79), 59-15, 62-24, 02-64, 59-48 and 83-20 and will face Changezi in the final on Monday.
