Breach of trust : Report sought on bogus cheque case
Ahmad claimed that producer Ishaque had booked his theatre for a play and given him a cheque for Rs2 million.

Lahore High Court sought a report from police on Friday regarding a bogus cheque for Rs2 million allegedly paid to Afzaal Ahmad, owner of Tamasil Theatre. Ahmad claimed that producer Ishaque had booked his theatre for a play and given him a cheque for Rs2 million. He said the cheque had bounced. The court was hearing Ishaque’s bail plea. Ishaque’s counsel said that Ishaque had not given Ahmad a cheque. He requested that his client be granted bail so he could join investigations.
