Indian security forces on Monday captured a Pakistani fishing vessel that strayed into the disputed waters of Sir Creek.

The vessel named 'Al Islami' was carrying eight Pakistani fishermen when it ventured into the disputed area and was captured.

The fishermen on the boat were Nazir Ilyas, Saleem Raja, Noor mohammad, Karim Jamal, Munir Mohammad Nazir, and Mumir.

The boat will be released after an investigation is conducted.

Earlier this month, India released 64 Pakistani prisoners, including 55 fishermen who had been jailed for poaching.
