ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday welcomed former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry to his party.

Speaking at a conference organised by PTI to mark Kashmir Day, Imran Khan said there were no allegations of corruption on Barrister Mehmood, and that he took the right decision to join his party.

Earlier, the former AJK premier had announced his inclusion in the PTI.

The PTI chief said the truth regarding rigging in the 2013 general elections will be unveiled by the end of this month. He lashed out at the Sindh and Punjab governments for delaying local government elections.

He vowed to set up a local body system in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa where powers will be devolved to the lower levels.
