The selection board of Pakistan Army approved the promotion of 28 brigadiers to major generals.
According to DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa, 28 brigadiers, including seven doctors of Army Medical Corps were promoted against existing vacancies/retirements.
The promotion board’s meeting was presided by army chief General Raheel Sharif. The promoted officers will be posted to their positions in the next few days.
