An Indian woman travelling on an Indigo flight from Mumbai has made a video confronting a passenger who allegedly tried to harass her on the flight. The video went viral on the social media with people from both sides of the border showing their support for the woman and questioning laws on sexual harassment in Pakistan and India.
The video gives a powerful message to women who have been victims of sexual harassment and urges them to not stay silent but confront molesters.
The video starts off with the woman saying, “Because I’m a girl, you think you can get away with this?”
The man, with his face covered, apologetically responds: “it’s my fault, I know.”
“You old man, look at your age,” the woman retorts. “I’m taking a video mister, if you ever do this again, you’ll remember this episode.”
“You think girls can’t speak!” she said.
