Security forces convoy targeted on its way from Ormagi to Parachinar

At least four security personnel were killed when militants targeted a vehicle using an improvised explosive device in Kurram Agency on Tuesday.
A security forces convoy was on its way from Ormagi in Central Kurram Agency to the headquarters of the agency, Parachinar when the blast took place and claimed four lives.
The area where the blast occurred is adjacent to Tirah Valley where Pakistan Army is carrying out Operation Khyber-1 against militants.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attacks on security forces in Kurram tribal agency and Mansehra.
TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khorasani said two special contingents of the Taliban carried out the attacks.
"Planted improvised explosive devices were used to target the Army and police vehicles," the TTP spokersperson said in a statement.
