Deadly collision: Man run over by train dies
They were taken to a hospital where Rasheed was declared dead on arrival.
KHANPUR:
A man was killed and his father was injured after Lahore-bound Shalimar Express ran over him while he was crossing the railway track on Monday. Police said Abdul Rasheed, 20, a resident of Chak 24 was crossing the railway tracks on his motorbike with his father Muhammad Saddiq, when he was hit the train. He died instantly. His father sustained injuries. They were taken to a hospital where Rasheed was declared dead on arrival. Saddiq’s condition was later reported stable.
