After Punjab, Sindh to raise anti-terror force as well
Three zonal committees to be formed to ensure implementation of Provincial Action Plan

Days after Punjab unveiled an anti-terror force, the Sindh government on Monday gave its approval for creating of an Anti-terrorism Force to counter the menace of terrorism, Radio Pakistan reported.
The decision to raise an anti-terror force was taken at an Apex Committee meeting jointly chaired by Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad in Karachi to review the law and order situation at CM House in Karachi.
During the meeting, approvals was also given for the establishment of zonal committees for integrated and coordinated action against terrorism. They also decided to refer 57 terrorism cases to special courts within 10 days.
Briefing the participants of the provincial apex committee, Brigadier Ahsan Gulrez of five corps revealed that in order to ensure implementation of Provincial Action Plan across the province, three zonal committees in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur will need to be constituted.
