Army chief General Raheel Sharif will chair a Corps Commanders conference on Tuesday to discuss the security situation in the country.

“Corps Commanders conference will be held tomorrow at the GHQ to discuss security issues and professional matters,” a military statement said.

Last month, while chairing the Corps Commanders conference following a Taliban attack on an army-run school in Peshawar, the army chief had said the entire nation was looking towards the political and military leadership of the country to take bold and meaningful decisions leading to stern action against terrorists and their sympathisers.
