Petition seeking lifetime ban on Amir, Asif, Butt filed in SHC
Request comes just days after ICC eased restrictions on fast bowler Amir, allowing him to return to domestic cricket

A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court on Monday seeking lifetime ban on spot-fixing trio of Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt, Express News reported.
The request comes just days after International Cricket Council eased restrictions on fast bowler Amir, allowing him to return to domestic cricket.
Former Pakistan captain Butt was banned for 10 years, and fast bowling pair Asif for seven years and Amir for five years in 2011 after being found guilty of deliberately bowling no balls in the Lord’s Test match played between Pakistan and England from 26 to 29 August 2010.
Amir's five year ban is scheduled to expire on September 5, 2015 however, his cooperation with anti-corruption officials led to an easing of the ban, enabling the player to take part in domestic cricket.

The petitioner said the 'disgraced' three should not be allowed to play for humiliating the nation at international level.
