Contagious diseases: Woman dies of hepatitis C
Thirty-two-year-old Ghazala, of Sialkot, was serving a life sentence after she was convicted of drug smuggling.
HARIPUR:
A female inmate at Central Prison Haripur died of hepatitis C at District Headquarters Hospital, said jail authorities on Sunday. Thirty-two-year-old Ghazala, a resident of Sialkot, was serving a life sentence after she was convicted of drug smuggling. She was earlier detained in Peshawar and was shifted to Haripur a year ago. The body was handed over to her family.
