Stranger danger: Girl ‘abducted, raped’ by three men

FAISALABAD:

A girl was allegedly rape by three men near Mansoorabad police station on Saturday.

Naveed Haidar told police that his 16-year-old niece Zarmina* was alone at home in Chak 203-RB Akbar Town when Khurram, Tauqeer and Hasnain broke in.

He said the men took her to a deserted house where they raped her.

He said they also beat her when she resisted. He said she had been badly bruised.

He said they then fled from the scene, leaving her behind. He said she returned home in an unkempt condition, crying for help. He said the chief minister should take notice of the incident. Talking to The Express Tribune Mansoorabad (SHO) M said police had registered a case against the suspects and started investigations.

He said a team had been formed to find and arrest them.  He said the girl had been asked to get a medical examination and submit report after which further action would be taken.
