Petroleum crisis: Senate session starts today

ISLAMABAD: The 110th session of the Upper House of Parliament would be held at Parliament House at 10:00 am Friday morning. The Senate will take up agenda items including question hour, calling attention notice and other issues in consent with the majority. The Senate is likely to discuss prevailing political situation of the country especially petroleum, load-shedding and other issues in consent with the chair as well as the majority. The government is likely to apprise the senators about progress in National Action Plan and measures being taken to exterminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
