ISLAMABAD: A business (B2B) networking session of the third Pakistan Japan Business Forum (PJBF) was organised at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo for enhancing bilateral trade between the two countries. A 13-member delegation from Pakistan was present, which represented leading manufacturers-cum-exporters of textiles, leather, pharmaceutical, engineering and shipping sectors. The embassy had made extensive arrangements for meetings of the delegates with their Japanese counterparts. The meetings with Japanese entrepreneurs and retail chain stores were organised in order to pursue the drive to improve trade and investment between Pakistan and Japan through direct private-sector engagements. During the meetings, the entrepreneurs from both sides learnt about potential business opportunities. Ambassador Farrukh Amil, in his welcome speech, urged Japanese entities to keep up the momentum created by their active participation in Expo 2013.
