Appreciation: Sargodha health EDO praised

Chief Secretary Khizar Hayyat Gondal on Thursday appreciated the performance of Sargodha Health EDO Muhammad Aqib Nazir, for the improved health indicators in the district. Gondal said that it was a matter of pride for the government that its officers were earning a good name through their performance. “The government wants to promote hard work and encourage diligent officers. The chief minister has issued instructions for encouraging diligent officers,” he said. Adviser to chief minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the EDO had been running a successful 24/7 programme to provide gynecology and labour services at basic health units in Sargodha. “Sargodha district is at the top in this regard. The credit for this goes to the health EDO,” he said. He expressed hope that Nazir would continue working with the same spirit. Nazir said that encouragement by the chief minister and chief secretary was a matter of pride for him. “My team will continue to work with the same spirit. We will try to come up to the expectations of the government,” he said.
