The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will train health activists from the capital, especially from the city’s slums.
To implement the project, CDA held a meeting with Islamabad-based non-governmental organisations here on Wednesday to develop a public-private partnership to provide health services through activists from within the community. CDA Director Health Services Dr Hasan Orooj said the project aims to provide quality health care to residents, especially those in areas highly-vulnerable to diseases.
