London calling: 'Polar bear' travels the Underground
The very realistic 8 foot long full-sized bear is the creation of a Hollywood special effects experts team

Among the usual hustle and bustle faced by Londoners every morning, commuters on January 27 were faced with something quite out of the ordinary, Time Out London reported.
An adult polar bear casually strolling around London's public transport system made commuters weary as they travelled to work on Tuesday morning.

The very realistic eight-foot-long full-sized bear is the creation of a Hollywood special effects experts team. It took 19 designers two months to create the semi-animatronic puppet and was animated by animal pro character actors who also worked on 'War Horse'.
Other than walking around the London underground, the puppet took to walking around Hampstead Heath, Charing Cross and South Bank.

The walk was commissioned by Sky Atlantic to celebrate the launch of their new arctic crime thriller called 'Fortitude' which premieres on January 29.
