Indian court orders case against Shoania

HYDERABAD:

A city court in Hyderabad  directed the registration of a case against Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza and 12 others for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims.

The orders have been issued on the complaint of a city-based Muslim organisation which said initially Shoaib said he never married Ayesha Siddiue, but later divorced her.

The complainant said there is no official divorce, but the 14 accused declared that divorce proceedings are over and got the public, particularly Muslims, confused.

Banjara Hills Police has been directed to present a report on the matter by May 26th.
