Repatriation: Bara IDPs may go home in February

PESHAWAR. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi announced on Monday that the repatriation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Bara tehsil would begin sometime in the middle of February following the successful conclusion of the Khyber-I military operation. “Most areas of Khyber Agency have been cleared and peace has been restored,” he told reporters in the Spin Qabar area of Bara. K-P governor Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi added he has instructed the relevant administration to review the rehabilitation work.
