COAS visit: Chinese military appreciates Pakistan's consensus against terrorism
General Raheel also meets Chinese counterpart, both decide to collaborate on defence, security and counter terrorism

China's Central Military Commission Vice Chairman General Fan Changlong praised Pakistan's consensus against terrorism during his meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in China Sunday morning.
As per Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa tweets, the Chinese military leadership assured their country's full support in Pakistan's fight against militants.
The army chief also held meeting with his Chinese counterpart, General Qi Jianguo, and discussed regional, security and defence-related issues.
The military leaders further appreciated Pakistan's resolve, efforts and sacrifices rendered in fighting the menace.
Speaking about Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Changlong also termed it as decisive, bold and hard blow for terrorists.
He added China and Pakistan were the most important neighbours and iron brothers having solid relations.

According to Bajwa, enhanced long-term collaboration on defence, security and counter terrorism, intelligence sharing and training exchanges between the armies of the two countries was agreed upon.
The army chief is on a two-day official visit on the invitation of Chinese officials to meet the political and military leadership.
