CNG blast: Two hurt in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD:
Two people were injured in an explosion caused by a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) blast in Morgah, Rawalpindi on Saturday, said a rescue official. Zafar Ali, 65, and Tariq Mahmood, 55, residents of Morgah, were injured during a blast in a Toyota Hiace parked in a house. The rescue official said Zafar filled CNG in his vehicle from Haripur, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and parked the vehicle at his home. However, the fuel and CNG got mixed up somehow and this resulted in a blast. The injured were shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Science and Benazir Bhutto Hospital where the condition of the injured is said to be critical.
