Illegal connection: Rogue line superintendent nabbed

FIA arrested a LESCO line superintendent, Ghazanfar, for giving the plaza an illegal connection

LAHORE:
A team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided Shinwari Plaza, a seven-storey building in the Shah Alam Market, on Wednesday and arrested Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) line superintendent, Ghazanfar, for giving the plaza an illegal connection. Assistant Director Jamil Khan told The Express Tribune that the illegal connection had caused a Rs1.1 million loss to the company.  SI Murtaza Bajwa said the connection had been given through a transformer in a residential colony in the area. He said a case had been registered against the owner of the plaza and the line superintendent. Bajwa said Ghazanfar was expected to divulge more information during interrogation.
