LAHORE:

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab president Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo said on Wednesday that the government had proved an ‘utter disappointment.’

He said the people were completely disenchanted with the government. He said the failure of the government to deliver quality services had compelled the people to wish for it to quickly vacate office. Wattoo said during its election campaign the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had promised to resolve the energy crisis in months. He said the party had hoodwinked the public to gain power. Wattoo said the PML-N was testing the people but they would have their revenge sooner or later.

He said the petrol crisis was unfathomable and PML-N leaders were simply passing the buck instead of contemplating about how to overcome the challenge.
