KARACHI:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) seeking a date for the official reassessment of Muhammad Hafeez, who has been banned from bowling due to his illegal bowling action.

Since the team management is keen to get Hafeez cleared in time for the World Cup, which starts on February 14, the board is trying to acquire a date in the first week of the next month.

Hafeez will be appearing at the ICC-accredited lab in Brisbane, which has been put on stand-by in order to deal with bowlers who may be reported during the mega event.
