F-9 Park Grid Station: IESCO officials summoned

ISLAMABAD: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has summoned the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) for personal hearing over gross violations of environmental rules by initiating construction work on a grid station in F-9 Park and without obtaining a no-objection certificate from the environment-regulating body. “Notice has been issued to the power-supply company and legal action will be taken,” an official at the EPA told The Express Tribune.
