A fire broke at a shop in Tibet Centre, one of the city’s largest car accessories and spare parts markets, on Monday morning. According to the fire department officials, the fire was caused by a short-circuit. “We were informed in time and two fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site. They managed to control the fire at an early stage, which kept the losses to a minimum,” said an official. He added that they had been alerted to the fire by passersby, who had seen smoke coming out of the closed shop.
