Two shot dead near NIPA Chowrangri in Karachi

Both were travelling on a double cabin vehicle bearing government registration number plate

KARACHI: Two people were shot dead in a target killing incident near NIPA Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi on late Sunday night.

Both were travelling in a double cabin vehicle bearing government registration number plate, and were targeted by armed motorcyclists, using nine mm pistol.

One of the deceased, Sohail Bhatti was said to be the deputy director of National Highway Authority, whereas the second victim Talat Yousuf was said to be the deputy director at the Karachi Municipal Corporation.

Bodies have been shifted to the Jinnah Hospital.

SSP Pir Muhammad said the police was verifying their identifications.

Two families more to mourn!! What a country we have? Have to receive dead bodies daily and got sick of listening our rulers promises and claims to root out terrorism/militancy
