The directors of intelligence agencies were asked on Friday to file affidavits about a man missing since Sept 31.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) was seized with the hearing of a constitutional petition filed by Muhammad Abid whose brother Arif Noor, an employee of the Gwadar Development Authority, was taken away in a raid.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Umer Hayat Sindhu submitted an Intelligence Bureau affidavit denying custody. The bench then asked the DAG to file affidavits on behalf of the Inter-Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence before the next hearing on Dec 20.
