LAHORE:
A Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) scan on fast-bowler Junaid Khan on Friday cleared him for part taking in World Cup 2015, according to a statement by Pakistan Cricket Board.
Junaid had sustained injured to his right thigh and left elbow after he slipped during the team's practice session in Lahore.
PCB’s General Manager Sports Medicine Dr Sohail Saleem said that pain in Junaid’s right thigh was non-radiating and was confined to an area of 4x4 centimeters just below the hip, adding that there was no discoloration or change in the temperature in the said area.
“For the correct prognosis, he was put through an MRI scan today which came out to be normal,” said Dr Saleem.
