KARACHI:
Skipper Sana Mir starred with an all-round show which included a hat-trick as Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 55 runs in their second T20 match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE.

Batting first, Pakistan were only able to post a total of 124-6 as wickets fell at regular intervals.

Sana played a responsible knock of 48 off 37 deliveries while opener Javeria made a 21-ball 25. Nain Abidi was the only other batter to get into double figures scoring 13.

Maduri Samuddika picked up three wickets while Inoka Ranaweera claimed two scalps.

In reply, Sri Lanka were bundled out for just 69 in 15.3 overs, with Chathurani Gunawardene (14) and Ama Kanchana (10) being the only notable scorers in an otherwise appalling show.

Sana was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets while Bismah Maroof took two scalps.

Pakistan have now levelled the series at 1-1 after having lost the first one by eight runs.
