NAUNDERO:

Electricity load-shedding has been officially increased from 10 hours a day to 12 hours since the last three days, causing serious hardships for the traders and rice mill owners who pay millions of rupees in monthly bills.

The power outage schedule announced by the Power Distribution Company (PDC), Sukkur, and sent to the grid station in-charge of the city states that electricity supply shall remain shut in Naundero every day from 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 9pm, 11pm to 1am, 3am to 6am and 10am to 12pm.

Power supply is always disconnected around 15 to 20 minutes before the scheduled time by the grid station in-charge illegally.

The traders’ associations and unions have demanded the federal government to take strict action against the PDC for their biased attitude or else they would be forced to come out on the roads.
