Security dynamic: Ban imposed on morning assemblies
PESHAWAR:
The district administration of Peshawar has imposed a temporary ban on morning assemblies at all private and government schools. It has also declared a government-run secondary school in Peshawar as particularly sensitive and urged its administration to tighten security.
The school’s administration has been asked to eliminate encroachments outside the school and not to allow students to play cricket in the ground.
It has also stopped passers-by from praying at the mosque in the school’s premises.
According to the district administration, action will be taken against schools which violate these orders.
