Man booked for fraud
ISLAMABAD:
The Industrial Area police on Tuesday registered a case against a suspect for pretending to be an excise and taxation officer and defrauding the public.
Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Nasrullah told the police that Muhammad Suhail Iqbal had been claiming to be an excise official looting the innocent people. The same police also recovered a Mehran car, which was stolen from Sargodha.
The police had intercepted the car on IJ Principal Road on December 20. A case has been registered and the driver arrested.
In yet another incident a motorcycle was stolen from Mughal Market in Sector I-8 on Monday. A case has been lodged against unknown persons.
