Security advice: Almost 1,000 schools issued notices
PESHAWAR:
Inspection teams of Peshawar police visited 1,130 educational institutes across the district thus far and issued advisory notices to 991. While talking to The Express Tribune, a police official said teams had been established in all police circles including City I, City II, Gulbahar, Faqirabad, Cantonment, Town, Regi, Hayatabad, Saddar, Chamkani and rural circles who visited and inspected security arrangements at schools and colleges. Four rapid response forces have also been formed to tackle emergency situations. Schools have been asked to arrange at least four security guards per institute. Following recommendations, many schools did not reopen on Monday.
