Heimtextil fair: Pakistani companies gear up for exhibition

Around 220 small and big manufacturers will take part in a textile exhibition named ‘Heimtextil’ in Frankfurt, which would feature 2,693 companies in total.



The event is meant to be a platform for companies to showcase their products to a large number of trade fair buyers from across the globe.


“Being the biggest international trade fair for home textiles and a global benchmark for quality and innovative design textiles, the exhibition has great importance for Pakistani exporters,” said Towel Manufacturer Association Chairman South Mehmood Rangoonwala.


He said that duty waiver facility has provided great support to exporters, enabling them to compete with regional rivals in international market. Participants from Pakistan include Gul Ahmed, Al Karam, Yunus Textile, Al Rahim and Kamal Limited. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has also organised a pavilion with 48 companies in the Asian Halls of the exhibition.
