Sindh High Court Advocate Tanvir Nazeer along with his family, had just left their home in Akhter Colony and were travelling in their car. They were on Korangi Road, within the limits of Defence police station, when two armed men riding on a motorcycle shot him dead.
SHO Kanson Dean said they were investigating the incident. He added that they had yet to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
As news of Nazeer’s murder spread, a spokesperson for Karachi Bar Association said the lawyers body had called for a full day strike of courts on Saturday.
