Apna Rozgar Scheme: Balloting held for vehicles for jobless youth
As many as 2,835 jobless youth to benefit from scheme.

Computerised balloting was held at the Commissioner’s office Kutchehry, Rawalpindi on Thursday to provide vehicles to unemployed youth under the chief minister’s Apna Rozgar Scheme.
The provincial government, under the Apna Rozgar Scheme, has given vehicles to people falling in the age bracket of 21-40 years.
The event was attended by people from all walks of life including commissioner Rawalpindi, Regional Police Officer (RPO), representatives of civil society, president Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce (RCCI), PML-N activists, MNAs and MPAs and media persons. Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ishfaq Sarwar was chief guest at the occasion.
While addressing, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, chief guest at the occasion, praised PML-N saying that the party was working to ensure a bright future of the youth of Pakistan.
As many as 3,892 vehicles were announced for unemployed people in four districts of Rawalpindi division.
As many as 1,058 Bolans and Ravis each were given in Rawalpindi district where 22,299 applicants had applied. As many as 1,471 applicants had applied in the Jehlum district where 444 vehicles were distributed. In the Chakwal district 4,375 applicants had applied for 604 vehicles meanwhile, 3,251 applicants had applied in the Attock district for the 728 vehicles.
