Nation stands with APS victims: Army Chief
COAS reviews progress made in operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-I
PESHAWAR:
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday reiterated that the entire nation and the armed forces of Pakistan stand with the victims of Army Public School and their families.
The Army chief, along with his wife met with families of APS victims in Peshawar on Thursday and expressed solidarity.
He reiterated that the entire nation and army stands firmly behind the affected families in this hour of distress.
The COAS also paid tributes to the victims of APS for their sacrifice.
Earlier, the Army chief visited the Corps Headquarters Peshawar, and met with Corps Commander Peshawar.
Together they reviewed progress in on going operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-I.
The COAS also reviewed preparations for the effective implementation of National Action Plan.
