RAWALPINDI: Six labourers doing construction work at the Metro Bus Project site on Benazir Bhutto Road were injured on Wednesday when a shuttering collapsed near Naz Cinema Chowk in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan Police Station. The labourers were busy working at the site without any sort of protective gear when the shuttering collapsed from a height of around nine feet. The injured were identified as Muhammad Shoiab, Sarfaraz Khan, Shakeel, Muhammad Sajid, Mustafa and one other. The injured were shifted to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital where sources confirmed their condition to be stable. The injured are expected to be discharged in a few days. In August last year, two labourers working on the project were buried alive after loose dirt collapsed on them at a site near Peshawar Mor.
