Twin cities: Students face accommodation issues
.
ISLAMABAD:
Students hailing from far-flung areas of the country, studying in different institutions of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, are facing accommodation problems. A number of students complained against the educational institutions in the twin cities for not having the hostel facility to meet the growing demand of new students. Students have to make their own arrangements at private hostels for availing the accommodation facility in the twin cities. These private hostels not only lack proper cleanliness but also provide substandard food. Moreover, they charge extra money on account of utility and electricity bills. It is not possible for a student to afford such huge expenses only for availing the hostel facility, said a student. The students have repeatedly urged the government to address their problems.
